Steppin’ Stone
Farm is open to all at-risk teenage girls, regardless of race,
color, creed or national origin. The resultant diversity, coupled with
a non-proselytizing but ever-present Christian atmosphere has worked wonders.
We work with families who love their daughters enough to sacrifice in
order to see their daughter move forward toward successful
and productive lives. Because of this we have seen in-depth change in
a high percentage of young ladies that have completed the minimum year
program.
Tours (parents or guardians only) are scheduled
over the phone at your request and are required, but not a guarantee of
your daughter’s admission. We always have
more prospects for admission than we have openings. We can not admit too
many from the same city, or school, or with the exact same problems. Age
is also a very important factor in making our decision.
We do not give medications for behavioral or
emotional problems. If you feel that your child has to have these medications,
then it would be appropriate to place her in a medical facility. If you
want to take her off of the medication, we ask that you consult with your
psychiatrist or psychologist before her arrival for placement.
